Patterson Hall
Patterson is a co-ed facility that houses approximately 300 first-year and upper-class students with 7 RAs available to help with any questions that residents may have. The women live on the North wing of the building, and the men live on the South wing.
Patterson Hall opened in 1969. It was named after the street it is located on.

WHAT DOES PATTERSON OFFER?
The Freshman Year Experience (FYE) and VSU's Air Force ROTC program will now be housed within Patterson Hall! The Freshman Year Experience (FYE) program us a year long success program designed to maximize every student's potential. The program is open to students who do not want to or are not ready to declare an academic major until after their first or second semester of college (for information). Air Force ROTC is an experience that transforms the ordinary individual into a well disciplined, purpose-driven person with a guaranteed career upon graduation and completion of the program as well as pride and a sense of honor to last a lifetime.
