What you need to know about your Housing Contract?
Costs
$25 non-refundable, one-time application fee

$300 housing deposit that guarantees your room for the entire academic year. For more information, refer to Deposit Facts.
- Payment for housing is due before each semester (including summer semester for apartment contracts)
Duration

Residence hall contract- entire academic year (fall and spring semesters - August-May).
- Apartment contracts- entire year (12 months/August to end of Summer Term)
- If you are under a Resident Hall Contract, summer term is a separate contract period and an additional contract must be completed to obtain housing for the summer
Moving Off-Campus

Breaks
- During the breaks between semesters, Thanksgiving break and spring break the residence halls will be closed.
Check-Out

If you do not turn in your room key when you check-out at the end of your residency, you will be charged $50 for a lost key.

If you do not follow the check-out procedures at the end of each term or when you vacate the room, you will be charged $25 for an improper check-out.
