Resident Assistant Application Process

Requirements

  • 2.50 minimum GPA requirement
  • Must have on campus living experience
  • Must be in good standing with the University

RA Application

Instructions

  • Please complete all sections of the application by typing or printing in black ink.
  • Please detach the recommendation forms, complete the “Waiver of Access” portions of the forms, and give them to two different people to complete.  It is suggested that at least one recommendation form be completed by professors or former supervisors. Recommendations should be mailed to the Office of Housing and Residence Life by the person completing them.
  • Submit your completed application to the Office of Housing and Residence Life by
    3 PM, September 26, 2008.

10/6/08-10/9/08   RA Candidate Interviews
10/17/08   RA candidates notified if selected for Spring 2009 RA Class
Spring Semester   Participation in the Spring RA class will determine final placement and job offers
4/6/09-4/9/09   Second Round interviews
4/17/09   RA offer letters. Hired candidates notified of placement for Fall 2009
