Application Process
The 2012-2013 application is now available for new students!
Don't forget to check our requirements before you apply!
How to Apply:
- Log onto your Banner account from VSU homepage
- The Banner link is an option under the Live @ VSTATE link pop-up menu
- If you are having problems logging into your Banner account, contact the Registrar's Office at (229) 333-5727. If you have other questions or problems with Banner, click here or call the Help Desk at 229-245-4357
- Click Student & Financial Aid
- Click Housing Application
- You will be prompted to pay the $300 deposit and $25 non- refundable application fee.
- You're priority number is not recorded until the deposit and application fee are paid
- If you plan on paying by check or money order, your priority number will not be recorded until we receive and process your payment.
- The check or money order needs to be made out to Valdosta State University.
- Place your student I. D. number somewhere on the check or money order.
- No starter checks
The priority deadline to ensure your roommate preference or building preference is April 15th. If you do not choose a roommate preference, you will not automatically ensure your building preference, both must be chosen by April 15th to meet the stipulations. Even after April 15th, you can continue to make changes to your housing application on roommate and building preferences until your orientation session. After the priority deadline, we will do our best to place you with your requested roommate or in your requested building preference, but there are no assurances this will happen.
