Auxiliary Facilities Management
Welcome to the VSU Office of Facilities Management (OFM), a department assigned within the Division of Auxiliary Services. The OFM is a newly established department in Auxiliary Services and is responsible for providing routine building repair and maintenance. Additionally, provides a preventive maintenance plan for all Auxiliary Departments and their assigned buildings. The staff of the OFM vows to provide the highest level of customer service to the Students, Faculty, Staff and Local community customers. Steve Blair started as a Valdosta State University Team Member in January 1994 working within the Department of Physical Plant. In September 1996, Steve assumed the position of Assistant Director of Housing for Facilities of which he has served until the creation of the Auxiliary Services Office of Facilities Management. Prior to coming to VSU Steve served in the United States Air Force for 21 years and retired after a very challenging and fulfilling career in Personnel/Human Resources Management, and Communications.
