Director's Office Staff
Steve Cline graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and soon will obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems. Before joining Auxiliary Services, Steve was employed for seven years by Food Lion as a frozen food and produce clerk while he attended Valdosta State. Steve has created the web pages for the entire Auxiliary Services Division and most of the Finance and Administration web pages. Steve provides computer hardware, software, and network support for the entire Auxiliary division.
Born in Xenia Ohio, Steve has lived most of his life in Valdosta.

Angie Culbreth joined Auxiliary Services in May 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Valdosta State University. Angie has been at VSU since 1997 and has worked with the VSU Foundation for the past ten years. Starting out as an accounting clerk, she advanced to Director of Accounting two years later. For the past two years, she has served as the CFO of the VSU Foundation and its related entities. At Auxiliary Services, she will work as an accountant in our Accounting Department.

Lynn Hortman Darsey joined the Auxiliary Services staff in August 2005 as the Manager of Marketing & Public Relations. She works with the Auxiliary departments to create marketing materials for perspective and existing students. Lynn holds a Bachelors degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a Masters degree in Public Administration, both from Valdosta State University.

Brett Daugherty joined the Auxiliary Services staff in May 2010 as a Computer Services Assistant. He holds an Accociates degree of Applied Sciences in Computer Information Systems from Valdosta Technical College. He soon plans to begin additional education in Business Administration. Before coming to the Auxiliary Services department he managed his family's bowling business as well as worked part-time with his own small computer and network services company.

Kendal Daughtrey joined Auxiliary Services in August 2011 as the Blackboard Systems Support Specialist for 1Card Services. Kendal came to VSU from Macy’s Systems and Technology in Atlanta where she was employed as a Project Manager and Business Liaison. Prior to that she graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree from the Terry College of Business in Management Information Systems.

Shawn has worked for Valdosta State University's Auxiliary Services since 1994. She began as the department's Clerk/Receptionist and moved up to the Administrative Secretary. A part of her job responsibilities when she started was to handle the telecommunication needs for the University. Due to this experience it has led her to her latest position as Telecommunications Support Specialist, which came about in 2005 due to the high volume of work orders and projects that involve telecommunications. Shawn is pursuing her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.

Robert Kellner holds a Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina and a Doctorate in Public Administration from Valdosta State University. He has over 30 years of experience in higher education. Prior to becoming Director of Auxiliary Services, Dr. Kellner served as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Housing & Residence Life at Valdosta State. Prior to his arrival at Valdosta he served as the Director of Housing at the University of Southern Colorado. His work experience also includes tenures at Saint Louis University and the University of South Carolina.
In 2007, Dr. Kellner founded the VSU Auxiliary Services Real Estate Foundation for which he serves as the CEO. The VSU Auxiliary Services Real Estate Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization which has aided Valdosta State in the construction of approximately $200 million in public private partnerships.
Dr. Kellner serves as a temporary faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences in Public Administration and has served as an instructor in the Psychology department.
Professionally, Dr. Kellner is active in the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS). He has served as the chair of the Awards Committee and currently serves the organization as the chair of the Technology Task Force. Dr. Kellner has presented at NACAS, the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International, the Association of University Real Estate Officials, and Georgia Planning Association. He serves as a Director for the Georgia Rotary Student Program and served on the Census Complete Count Committees for Lowndes-Valdosta in 2000 and 2010.

Shannon McGee has worked for Auxiliary Services since 1997. She first worked in the VSU 1Card office for over 9 years as the administrator of the ID card system and then became the Associate Director of Auxiliary Services in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Public Administration degree, both from Valdosta State University. Prior to joining Valdosta State, Shannon worked for Goldleaf Technologies as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Her work experience also includes serving as President for the Council on Staff Affairs at Valdosta State in 2002 and working for three years as an adjunct instructor at Valdosta Technical College in the Department of Business. In her role as Associate Director, Shannon assists the Director of Auxiliary in managing the daily operations of Auxiliary as well as working on various Auxiliary projects.

Tim Murphy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of
Georgia and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Valdosta State University. After graduating
from UGA in 1991, he worked for the Broome County Health Department, Binghamton, New York, as an
accountant. (Tim is a native of upstate New York.) His responsibilities included monitoring the
activities of approximately a dozen state and federal grants made to the Department. In addition
he was given charge of preparing federal and state cost reports, which were audited annually by
independent auditors (Price Waterhouse). Later in his tenure with Broome County, he was involved
in the preparation of its annual budget, which was submitted for approval to the County Commissioner
and the County Legislature. Tim is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a
Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Craig Williams began working at Valdosta State University in May, 1998 as the Computer Services Specialist for 1Card Services. He joined the Auxiliary team in 2006. He is a graduate of the Advanced Electronics Technology Program at Valdosta Technical College; he received his B.A.S. in Technology from Valdosta State University in 2008, and is currently in the M.Ed program for Adult and Career Education.
