MEAL PLANS: So Many Choices, So Little Time!
Campus Dining Services currently operates eight different dining locations in five different buildings, so there's always some place to grab a bite to eat no matter where you are on campus. We have worked hard to bring you the most comprehensive campus dining program imaginable. From popular national brands like Chick-fil-A, Quiznos Subs, The Loop Pizza Grill, and Einstein Bros. Bagels, to Sodexo branded Jazzman's Cafe, Subconnection, Sky Ranch Grill, Salsa Rico and our very own all-you-care-to-eat Palms Dining Center, VSU has something for everyone! We know that students keep very busy schedules, so we offer continuous service at all our dining locations, including late night hours at our retail locations.
A VSU meal plan gives you the freedom to make your own dining decisions, with several plans to choose from, depending upon your specific eating habits and lifestyle.

Students who have been formally accepted by Valdosta State University and who have completed a residence hall contract must select a meal plan during registration each semester. Meal plans will be validated according to the meal plan that you selected during registration, therefore, it is very important that you verify which meal plan you have before you pay your fees.
Your Meal Plan Program Commitment is a fully binding legal agreement with the University and contains specific terms and conditions. Any participant in the Meal Plan Program desiring release from the contract prior to the conclusion of the academic year must complete a Request for Release from Meal Plan Contract, available in the Meal Plan Office, located at 1Card Services.
Release from the Housing Contract does not automatically constitute a release from the Meal Plan Program Contract.
Meal Plan Program fees are assessed on a per semester basis and must be paid in full during registration at the beginning of each semester. Meal plans will be validated automatically at the beginning of each semester based on the meal plan charge shown on your fees. Failure to pay applicable Meal Plan Program fees will not relieve an existing obligation to purchase a meal plan.
Meal Plan Participation
The residence hall contract requires all freshman and/or first year residents, with the exception of graduate students, to participate in the Meal Plan Program.
