About the Director of Auxiliary Services

Robert Kellner holds a Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Public Administration from Valdosta State University. He has over 20 years of residence hall experience, having served as the Director of Housing at the University of Southern Colorado prior to assuming his current position at Valdosta State University in 1983. His work experience also includes tenures at Saint Louis University and the University of South Carolina.

Related work experience includes serving on the Faculty at Valdosta as an Instructor in the Psychology Department. He also supervises the Orientation and Leadership Development programs at Valdosta State. While at the University of Southern Colorado, he also had the responsibility of serving as the Interim Director for the University Union and Conference Services.

Professionally, Mr. Kellner is active in the Association of College and University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I), the Southeastern Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the National Association of College Auxiliary Services, and the American College Personnel Association. He has been appointed three times to chair the Legislative Issues Committee for ACUHO-I and currently serves as their liaison with the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Officials.
