Where to Use the VSU 1Card

Dining Services accounts for which you have registered and paid for through Banner/Bursary, are accessed with your VSU 1Card. Your FLEX Account is not considered a meal plan, however you may use it at any Dining location on campus.

Your FLEX Account may be used to make purchases at the campus Bookstore, in person only.

Online purchases are not available with FLEX.

The magnetic stripe on the back of your VSU 1Card is encoded by Housing and Residence Life to allow access to your residence hall, upon payment of fees and room assignment.

Laundry rooms in Housing and Residence Life accept FLEX only, as payment for laundry equipment.

Many campus Drink and Snack Vending machines are equipped with card readers to utilize FLEX Account funds.

The VSU 1Card is required to utilize medical services at the Student Health Center, if you have paid the current semester's health fee through your Student Account/Bursary.

The VSU 1Card FLEX Account may be used in Parking and Transportation to pay for parking decals, tickets, etc.

If you have paid the current semesters activity fee through your Student Account/Bursary, you may use your VSU 1Card to access the Student Recreation Center. Please contact Student Recreation for questions regarding your privileges.

Odum Library utilizes the bar code on the back of your VSU 1Card, to allow you access to library material.

If you have paid the current semesters Athletic Fee, you would use your VSU 1Card to obtain admission to Athletic events. Please contact the Bursary to verify payment of this fee.
